In Character Information
Name: Homura Akemi
Series: Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Canon Standing: Episode 11/12, Pre-Walpurgisnacht fight, when she's standing there watching Walpurgis near the beginning of the episode.
Age: Biologically 14, Mentally she's travelled nearly 100 timelines so around ~20
Birthday & Astrology Sign: January 13th, Capricorn
Arcana: Wheel of Fortune

Personality:
Usual Moods
In her outward appearance, Homura is calm and collected. She moves about in a very graceful manner that makes people think about how "cool" she is. She doesn't say much, and what she says, she does so in a blunt and somewhat off-putting manner. Homura seems to be this, "mysterious loner"-type character with relatively few attachments. She chooses this cold personality of her own choice, as doing so means less people will get hurt in the days that follow. Although polite, many of her actions come off as antagonistic, as the nature of her powers mean that she ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her unwillingness to explain what she already knows makes her enemies with Mami and Sayaka right off the bat even though she tries to warn them of their impending fate.

To her schoolmates, Homura is a very school idol-type character. She demonstrates her intelligence when answering questions on the board without hesitation, and manages to complete all her physical activities in gym without difficulty. Incontrast to her from before her time-travelling, Homura has the image of having everything all together. She's confident, smart, and manages to earn top marks in everything she does. Aside from a blunt way of speaking, she seems to be in control of her surroundings.

The colder personality she chooses is a for Homura. It is an outer wall to deflect any attempts at friendship or connection. Because any attachments could cause her plans to be changed in dramatic ways, Homura chooses to be independent, living alone in her house and seemingly not making any contact with her relatives (if she has any).

The Homura under the shell is insecure and shy, like she was originally when she left the hospital in the first timeline. Although Homura has gained some confidence and speaks like a leader, the fact that she is inexperienced with conversation or even getting close to people demonstrates that the insecure and shy girl hasn't completely disappeared.

Interactions with Others
Homura's coldness makes it hard for her to make friends or have significant relationships with people she does not already know from previous timelines. She rarely offers aid and tries not to form attachments-only alliances. The rule against forming new friendships is mostly sucessful, as she only has three or four major relationships, and most of them seem to be neutral at best.

Homura can be jealous as well, as she demonstrated the feelings of a jilted friend towards Sayaka. Homura states very clearly that she will not have Sayaka putting Madoka in danger, and the two form a rivalry with each other. Although Homura is shown to want to help Sayaka out, possibly out of her own concern, but also partly because she doesn't want Madoka to worry for the girl who is almost dying. Sayaka rejects this offer. It is then shown that Homura and Sayaka have never had a particularly good relationship to begin with. One can presume that the strained relationship of them is rooted in Sayaka's suspicion towards Homura, and Homura's jealousy and general dislike towards the other.

In the original timeline where she became a magical girl, Homura also looks up to a veteran magical girl, Mami Tomoe, as a senpai. In the present timelines, Homura mutes this feeling when engaging Mami Tomoe. She sees Mami as a possible and valuable ally, and even goes to warn her or come to her aid when the other disagrees. In doing so, she could also get close to Mami. Homura shows pain when Mami rejects her offer to become allies, demonstrating that Madoka isn't the only person she cares about in a positive light.

Homura is also shown to be able to make jokes or have her sarcastic streaks. When allied with Kyouko, Kyouko makes a snide remark about how obnoxious people have annoying friends. Homura rebukes this by saying that Kyouko too, is obnoxious. This act on her part only demonstrates that Homura isn't just completely an ice queen and that she too, may be playful once in a while, no matter how unlikely this is. Their relationship resembles a work-alliance at best, as Homura doesn't interact with Kyouko much otherwise.

Interactions with Friends
Homura has one 'friend' in Madoka Kaname. In fact, Madoka was the only person to say that Homura was her friend. Homura, who was at the time insecure and self-depreciating, took this incredibly positively because no one had ever offered to be friends with her. Many hints in the series posit the idea that perhaps Homura is in love with Madoka, and for that reason she made the wish. For Madoka, Homura demonstrates her devotion and determination. Because of Madoka, Homura makes the wish to go back in time to "protect" her. Homura's ultimate goal of preventing Madoka from becoming a magical girl is actually a promise she made with the other in the third timeline she was in. Homura sees her entire world being motivated by Madoka, as she is the reason why she keeps repeating the timeloop over and over and over again without even the slightest bit of hesitation. She knows that she only has a month for this, so everyone else in Mitakihara is not as important to her as saving Madoka.

Backstory:
I'm so lazy I'm so sorry

Canon Powers:
Hammer Space - Homura's 'shield' seems to possess limitless space. In the anime it was at some point demonstrated she had enough guns to supply a small army. Everything stored in her shield seems to be in suspended motion until she decides to use it. She mostly used it to store weapons and inorganic so it can be presumably used to stock anything of that sort as well. It seems likely this is where she keeps the spoils of her victories against her enemies as well.

Time Stop - Homura's wish when she became a magical girl centered around rewinding time and resetting the timeline so she could save the one she loved. Thus, as an extension of that wish, Homura's powers became mostly time-based. Homura is shown to only be able to rewind the full duration of her month in which she met Madoka, but is able to stop time in little intervals. This is all done through the sand on in the hourglass on her shield, when the sand runs out, time will begin once more. To be safe, I'm gonna say she can stop time for two minutes at a time. When she stops using her powers to stop time, the hourglass will rewind and start refilling itself (taking 8 hours for a complete 2 minute refill). Using his ability also drains on her Soul Gem, and if it becomes too tainted, she needs to heal herself using "grief seeds" or risk becoming a witch.

Increased Physical Resistance, Endurance, Flexibility, and Healing - Homura's body is largely a shell, and her actual soul is in her soul gem. Therefore, most damages will rebound off her body or she can repair it if needed. She demonstrates this when she uses her magic to cure her own eyesight and how she overcame her heart condition. If the Soul Gem is destroyed or separated from her for an extended period of time, Homura will begin to die and her body will decay. However, Homura is probably one of the weaker magical girls. Her attacks are used in conjugation from her powers and usually at a distance. This hints at her possibly fragile status when it comes to taking damage. She also does not engage in direct combat with her magic, and instead utilizes external, physical weaponry like guns. Like Time Stop, any reparations to her body will require the use of her soul gem.

Unknown Offensive Power - Homura is shown to use a offensive projectile weapon created from magic to hunt after Kyuubey. Otherwise, however, Homura seems to use her guns and time travelling the most.

Witch Form - Not necessarily a power or an ability, but Homulilly is Homura's witch form, also known as Homulilly (like her persona) arises when her soul gem is completely tainted or black. Essentially, if Homulilly arises, Homura is as good as dead with no chance of reviva. It is unknown what powers Homulilly possesses, but it is likely that it will not stray too far from regular witch abilities with her own spins on it. Rebellion (the third Madoka movie) introduced a new form of Homulilly that may be used in the future for canon updates, but not any time soon. As a general rule, Homura wants to avoid this reality as much as possible.

Sample 1 (musebox)

Sample 2 (example Network post)
[ Homura is familiar with technology- in general, at least.  This watch is new to her, but activating the network is relatively easy and she doesn’t fumble too much with it. She manages to pull up a screen, waiting for something to come to her so that she can word it properly. Despite not knowing her surroundings, her purple eyes stare forward and impassively into the screen, unwavering. She needs to go back to Mitakihara, but more importantly she needs answers. Answers are imperative issues. She needs to gather information, and if this device allows her to connect with locals, then it would spare her the time of actually walking round.

Inside her mind, the gears spin. Her thoughts are of the strange dream, of the strange man that brought her here.  She can still feel her own powers coursing through her veins, weakened, but still present in their own way.  The screen in front of her has yet to make a connection with the network, and Homura wonders if she should make a post at all when she knows nothing. She could risk showing her face to enemies.

There doesn’t seem to be some sort of anonymous feature on this, and she could only hope that whatever she said on the “network” couldn’t be used against her. Better to tread with more care than usual.  Slowly, Homura opens her mouth to ask her question.  She’ll be gone soon enough (she hopes), and no one will remember her when she does leave.

Homura clears her throat. Her expression is calm and unreadable to cover up the slight worry arising in her heart when she doesn’t know anything at all about this place. ]

Good evening. I’ll not mince words.  I need to know if there is an exit to this town. It is imperative to my duty that I return to my original location immediately. And if there isn’t, I would like to know where I may obtain a firearm or a weapon.

[ Her stocks seem to be running a little slow, anyway. This dilapidated town is no doubt home to some monsters, like the witches of Mitakihara. Why would she be tasked to protect it?  However, getting out takes precede

She brushes a stray strand of hair from her face, and slowly nods towards on screen.]
